Photography has accompanied me from the beginning, used as a pathological exercise to reveal the emotional origins of my family, staging private moments without filters, through an obsessive search of my family archive. This approach is realized in my intimate long-term project “From the first day”, exhibited in Galleries such as “Galerie Claude Samuel”; “Maison de la Photographie ”; “Cavallerizza Museum” (Turin) obtaining publications including “Lens cuture Award”, “Collateral”, “Artribune” , “Perimeter”, “Artpil”, “Icon magazine”; “The Photographer”; “Marco Pesaresi prize”, “Young Women under 30”..
Mixing texts and images, my stories oscillate between documentary traces of the environments I meet and poetic journeys. My work focuses mainly on existential issues that start from a personal point of view and then lead to the exploration of universal experiences. Addressing the problems of social exclusion of certain groups of people considered “strange” or members of a subculture by reflecting on the complexities of everyday life and social dynamics, focusing on experiences of marginalization and resilience. I seek a balance between the spontaneous and the accidental, so with an authentic approach and not at all artificial I like to show glimpses of the world to which I belong, in which often nothing is built.I try to transform ordinary urban landscapes into illusions that stand between familiarity and peculiarities.
I have a master’s degree in Biology, then studied at the “C.F.P. Bauer” (Milan) and I’m attending Master at the “Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera” (Milan).
Currently I live in Milan, where I work on my projects and as a freelance photographer.
I have been working in the photography sector for years assisting artists such as: Paolo Ventura, Francesco Zizola, Paolo Woods, Gabriele Galimberti, Paolo Zerbini.
